Once you’ve decided your plot points and developed your outline and script, it’s time to create and round-out your characters. Are you going to have a large cast of characters with multiple stories? Or are you going to focus on a smaller set of characters, giving a more in-depth look at each one?
No matter what you decide, the most important thing is to be consistent. If you decide to draw your protagonist with pink hair and large eyes, don’t suddenly make her hair brown and her eyes tiny. By drawing inconsistently, readers will become confused and their reading will be disrupted, which is the last thing any author wants!
